Evelyn Sims '19 Writes Winning Essay

Evelyn Sims, a junior at The Aquinas Institute, wrote the first place essay for the Christopher Columbus Essay Contest sponsored by the Mary Fellows Penfield Chapter of the National Society of the Daughter's of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Evelyn's winning essay will be submitted to the New York State American History Chair with an opportunity to move onto national recognition.

Several of Jeff Page's 11th grade history students who entered the Christopher Columbus Essay Contest will be honored at the academic awards night ceremony held in the spring.
