Pre-Paid Lunch Accounts

Aquinas is pleased to offer a non-cash, point of sale payment system for purchasing cafeteria items. To set up a pre-paid account, simply provide the cashier with cash (in an envelope marked with the student's name and ID number) or a check (made payable to Aquinas Institute and marked with the student's ID number).

Each student will enter his/her student ID number when making a purchase. The name, ID number, and a photo of the student will appear on the screen allowing the cashier to verify the identity of the person accessing the account. Students will be informed of their account balance after each purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: There is NO CHARGING allowed and payments will not be accepted over the phone. If you have any questions, please contact the Business Office at (585) 254-2020 x1012.

MySchoolBucks Online Payment

Aquinas’ Food Service Department offers parents a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service so that money may be deposited into student school meal accounts at any time. By having money in each child’s account prior to entering the cafeteria, lunch lines move along much faster giving students more time to eat and be with friends.

In addition, this service allows parents to view their child’s account balance and print a copy of their child’s eating history report. History reports include all dates and times that breakfast and/or lunch was purchased within the past thirty days.

To Access These Services:
  1. Simply go to www.myschoolbucks.com
  2. From this site click SIGN UP TODAY and enter the required information. You will then add your student and the money to his/her school meal account. All you need is your child’s name and student ID number. If your child does not know their student ID number, please call (585) 254-2020 x1060.

Things to Know:
  • If you have more than one child at Aquinas, you can handle all online prepayments from the same online account. 
  • Payments may be made through an existing PayPal account or with a major credit or debit card.
  • In order to use the online prepayment service, a small convenience fee for each transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees. The convenience fee is $2.75 per deposit transaction. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the $2.75 fee once per deposit transaction. Aquinas will not profit from the use of this site. 
  • Deposits may take 24-48 hours to show in your students account. Please print the email verification of your deposit and have your student present this to the cashier at checkout.

Cafeteria & Snack Bar Charges Policy

Aquinas Institute will permit an enrolled student with a valid student ID to purchase food and beverage from the school cafeteria or snack bar even if the purchase puts the student’s account into a negative or balance due status. It will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to reimburse the school for all charges. A letter and/or email will be sent home each month informing parents/guardians of any balance due. We do not believe that a child enrolled at Aquinas should go hungry and we will not cap this expense. At the end of the school year, any balance due for cafeteria or snack bar charges must be paid in full in order to graduate, receive grades/schedule, or transfer records.
