Strong Finish for Singletary

2nd in Long Jump at NYS Track & Field State Meet

Congratulations to AQ junior Travasia Singletary on her accomplishments in the NYS Track and Field State meet.

Travasia finished 2nd in the long jump at the state meet with a leap of 17'6 1/4". Travasia also ran in the trials of the 100 meter dash and finished in the top 8 and competed in the finals of the 100 meter dash and finished 2nd. Her excellent effort qualified her to compete in the state federation championship in which she finished 5th.
