Celebrating Catholic Schools

Aquinas Institute and Nazareth Elementary Come Together to Celebrate
The final Sunday of every January marks the start of Catholic Schools Week in the United States. This week-long event, jointly sponsored by National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is a time to honor the mission of Catholic education, its impact on individuals and the community.

The theme for this year’s celebration of Catholic schools was: “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service”.  In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, Aquinas and Nazareth Elementary celebrated mass together as a community on Thursday, February 2nd in the Wegman Napier Gymnasium. This was a wonderful celebration of faith based education, and we thank Fr. Robert Werth '63 for joining us as our celebrant.
