Aquinas Feeds 80 Families this Thanksgiving
On Tuesday, November 23rd, Aquinas peer ministers distributed Thanksgiving food baskets to local families in need. Mrs. Schott, Aquinas’ Director of Mission and Ministry, and the peer ministers spent weeks collecting and sorting food generously donated by students, faculty, and staff. Monetary donations were also collected. That money was used to buy gift cards that will assist families with the purchase of turkeys. Overall, Aquinas handed out 80 Thanksgiving food baskets this year to families who may otherwise have gone without the traditional Thanksgiving meal.
As a school community, we believe that service to others is our expression of Christ’s love for us. We look forward to continuing this cherished tradition in the future.
