Aquinas is saddened by Siena Catholic Academy’s announcement that it will permanently close at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. As a Catholic institution, it’s always difficult to see a fellow Catholic school face a closure such as this. Please know that our hearts go out to each of the families affected by this decision.
Aquinas has always had a great relationship with the Siena community. Each year, Aquinas welcomes many Siena alumni who demonstrate a strong spiritual and academic foundation, and a desire to learn. We are committed to carrying on this legacy. Through Aquinas' college-prep curriculum and emphasis on STREAM, our students are continually challenged, allowing them to grow in their faith and flourish in the classroom.
It is with open arms and open hearts that we invite our friends from Siena to join us for an informational Welcome In Tuesday event on May 5. Like our typical Welcome In Wednesday events, we will discuss:
- Mission & academics*
- College-prep curriculum
- Aquinas Capstone
- STREAM
- AQMS: "A school within a school"
- Matching net tuition & financial aid
- AQ admissions process
- What to expect
- Q&A
