Students Raise $1,500 for Honor Flight
Sponsoring three veterans on future mission
Aquinas Institute middle school and high school students took up a two week mission collection and raised nearly $1,500 for Honor Flight Rochester.
Honor Flight is a not-for-profit, fully-volunteer organization that flies World War II, Korean War, Cold-War era and Vietnam War veterans from the Greater Rochester area to Washington D.C. on a two day trip, so that they may visit and reflect together at Memorials built in their honor. Donations made to Honor Flight cover all of the expenses for the veterans.
The money raised by Aquinas students will sponsor three veterans on a future Honor Flight Mission.
