International Week 2019

Celebrating Aquinas' International Students
Each year, Aquinas' International Program welcomes 35+ students from all over the world. Currently, we have students from Austria, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, South Korea and Vietnam. This week, as part of International Week 2019, we will celebrate these students and their cultures with a variety of planned events and activities.

To kick off the week, international students gave a school-wide presentation at the Monday morning Kumbaya that allowed American students to learn more about where they are from and what their experiences as students studying abroad have been like. To further celebrate, the following events and activities have been planned by our international students, in a lead up to their annual spring trip to New York City this Thursday.

Tuesday, 4/2: During all lunch periods, students will be giving kids the opportunity to play international games and win prizes
Wednesday, 4/3: School-wide dress down. Students, faculty and staff will be asked to dress representing one of the countries where our international students are currently from:

Austria: Red and white
China:  Red and yellow
Czech Republic:  Red, blue, white
France:  Red, blue and white
Germany:  Black, yellow and red
South Korea: Red, blue, white and black
Vietnam:  Red and yellow
