Students Attend Geva Theater Center Career Day

Aquinas theatre students in grades 10-12 had the opportunity to participate in the Geva Theater Center Career Day on Thursday, February 28.

Students took an extensive backstage tour of the building, which included Geva’s costume and props shops. Following the tour was a question and answer period with several Geva staff members representing a variety of departments within the theatre, including production, marketing, development, education and performance.

Aquinas Theatre Director, Mrs. Barbour ’05, said that this opportunity in particular, allows students to learn more about the careers available in a professional theatre environment and what it truly takes to make a theatre run.
