Novellin ’21 Selected for Roberts Wesleyan Honor Choir

Each year Roberts Wesleyan College invites the best high school choir students from around New York State to participate in its Honor Choir Festival and this year, Aquinas sophomore Nick Novellin will be among the performers.

Dr. Adam Potter, conductor and newly appointed Director of Choral Activities at Roberts Wesleyan College, will serve as Director of the weekend long festival. Students will spend February 8-9 in rehearsals and sectionals preparing for their Sunday concert.

Nick, an RBTL Stars of Tomorrow winner for Outstanding Supporting Actor and winner of Outstanding Vocal Soloist at Music Fest ’18 says he’s honored to have been selected for the Roberts Wesleyan College Honor Choir, especially because he hopes to major in vocal performance in college.

“What I’m looking forward to most is having that experience of being on a college campus and performing with other people who are as driven as I am to be successful in the arts,” said Nick.

The Roberts Wesleyan Honors Choir Festival Concert will take place on Sunday, February 10 at 2:30 p.m. in the college’s Cultural Life Center Hale Auditorium. The performance is free and open to the public. We wish Nick the best of luck.
