Exploring Program 2018-2019

Seneca Waterways Exploring is a career-education program that allows high school students to check out a career they may be interested in pursuing through hands-on activities led by people out in the real world.  Why wait until you’re almost through college to find out what it’s like in your field? American Institute of Architects
Have students interested in architecture, this program is a great introduction to the career while working with some of the best young architects in the Rochester area. Explorers will gain hands on experiences at local firms including Clark Patterson Lee, Labella and SWBR. Explorers are encouraged to begin a portfolio and this is a great place to start.

Rochester Red Wings
Do you know any young people interested in a career in Sports Management. Or do you know anyone who loves the game of baseball and would like to see what goes on behind the scenes of one of the most successful professional minor league franchises in the country. This is an awesome opportunity which concludes with an evening with game day operations at the ball park.

Experimental Aircraft Association
In addition to the awesome aviation post at the ROC Airport, the EAA #44 at Ledgedale Airpark in Brockport has an awesome opportunity that will allow young people get hands on while Exploring careers in Aviation…specifically piloting. If you have a young person interested in the hobby of flying this opportunity would be great for them too. The post will include piloting, drones, Red Bird Flight Simulator and a flight with a trained instructor. Please spread the word!!!
