Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students at The Aquinas Institute took part in the Annual Middle School Service Day on Thursday, May 24.
The 243 students were divided into groups and visited various work sites around Rochester to lend a helping hand. Sites included: The Veterans Outreach Center, St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center, Mary's Place Refugee Center, Nazareth Elementary, St. Joseph's House of Hospitality, Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Church of the Ascension, Foodlink, YMCA Camp Bay View, and YMCA Camp Arrowhead.
We’re proud of the work these students were able to accomplish in just one day and look forward to seeing what community projects they’ll take on in the future.
