AQ Students Attend inspireDANCE Festival

On January 29, The Aquinas Dance Department had the opportunity to participate in the inspireDANCE Festival’s “High School Dance Day” at the University of Rochester. Roughly 30 AQ dance students attended the festival taking classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Capoeira, Contact Improvisation and West African dance styles. 

The opportunity was quite extraordinary for dancers who were able to take classes with master teachers from around the country and dabble in dance styles and discussions that they do not always have exposure to.
