Artists Day Out

Students get a glimpse of ArtisanWorks
Students taking Ceramics A, Advanced Digital Photography, and Drawing and Painting recently left the classroom to immerse themselves in what could be described as an artist’s paradise. ArtisanWorks, located on Blossom Road here in Rochester, is a 400,000 sq. ft., self-funded not-for profit art space that supports regional artists and houses a collection of roughly 500,000 items.

Students had an opportunity to tour the facility before breaking off to complete their assigned activities, which included a scavenger hunt. Pictured, are photos from the Advanced Digital Photography students.

FUN FACT: ArtisanWorks founder Louis Perticone ’69 is an alumnus of Aquinas Institute!
