Information was emailed to families and posted on the Aquinas website on Wednesday, March 13. Please register your child for the 2019-2020 school year as soon as possible to ensure he or she has the best chance of receiving his or her desired courses. Any student who has not registered by May 31, 2019 will have their courses chosen by Aquinas. Here are the steps/items that need to be completed:
Registration Contract: This contract can be accessed through the parents’ Aquinas OnSuite account. When completing this contract, an online payment of $200 must be made. Each parent/guardian who is responsible for signing contracts must login to his/her account to digitally sign the contract.

Course Selection: Online course requests are to be made through the students’ Aquinas OnSuite account. Course request procedures can be found under the “Course Request” tab at the top of each student’s OnSuite account.

Counselor & Student Meeting: After your child’s registration contract is completed and he or she has selected his or her courses, an individual counselor meeting will be set up to discuss academic/career/college plans, and to review course requests. Students will bring home a program of study form to be signed and approved by a parent/guardian. Students should return this form to their counselor by the following morning.

    AP Examinations - May 6-16

All students who take AP courses have been given the Bulletin for AP Students and Parents and encouraged to share the bulletin with parents. Included in the bulletin is the schedule for AP exams, administered between May 6 and May 16. Students must report for morning examinations at 7:45 a.m. and at 11:45 a.m. for afternoon exams. There is no admission once the examination has begun.
Students who take an AP Course at Aquinas are required to write the corresponding examination. The Aquinas business office bills the student’s family $94.00 for each examination. Students who qualify for a reduced rate are billed $53.00 per exam. To qualify for the reduced rate, a family’s income must fit the guidelines issued each year by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. If a family fits those criteria and have not submitted financial forms to the Aquinas Business Office, they must submit the forms before qualifying for a reduction. In some years, New York State waives the reduced fee, but that decision has not yet been made by the State for this year.
If a student wishes to take an examination and is not a student in the corresponding course, he/she must put that request in writing with signatures of both parent and student and submit the request to Ms. Habershaw by March 10. Consideration will be given to accommodate that request.
Students or parents who have questions about AP Examinations should contact Ms. Habershaw by e-mail at
