Aquinas Students Attend NYSTEA Conference

Last weekend, the New York State Theatre Education Association (NYSTEA) held its 26th Annual Student Conference. Aquinas has participated in the conference for 17 years and this year, eight of our theatre students attended. They were accompanied by our Theatre Director, Megan Barbour and Brian White, AQ Band Director. 

NYSTEA promotes and supports theatre education for students in grades K-12 and for the Student Conference delegates, this conference is a highlight of their high school career. In addition, NYSTEA provides several resources to educators who teach theatre or direct school dramas and musicals. 

The weekend was full off opportunity for learning and peer interaction. We are so happy AQ was able to participate again this year. Thank you to Mrs. Barbour, Mr. White and our students for proudly representing Aquinas!
