Feeding the Hungry

Aquinas donates 95 Thanksgiving food baskets to families in need
The Aquinas Institute of Rochester donated 95 Thanksgiving food baskets to local families in need on Friday, November 20.

The annual Thanksgiving food basket program is a joint effort by students and employees, who contribute all the traditional Thanksgiving menu items including turkeys, instant mashed potatoes, canned corn, yams, cranberry sauce, green beans, gravy, stuffing mix, and cranberry sauce.

Aquinas’ Peer Ministers along with Campus Minster, Linda Moll, coordinate the effort by collecting donations from each homeroom, sorting the food items, preparing each family’s food basket, and carrying the baskets out to cars on pick-up day.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped to make Thanksgiving possible for local families in need.
