Lands’ End School Uniform Team Announces 2019 Lands’ End School Starboard Scholarship Award Winners

Lucas Sherron receives $10,000 scholarship award
The Lands’ End School Uniform team, a leading supplier of high-quality uniform apparel and logo embroidery to over 5,000 schools across the US and worldwide, has announced the winners of this year’s Starboard Scholarships. The scholarships recognize students in grades 6-12 who display exceptional leadership skills and show a passion for learning and education. Each winner was selected from 2,500 nationwide applicants.

“Each year, as we outfit thousands of students across the country, we’re so impressed with the talent and promise that these students exhibit. We created the Lands' End School Starboard Scholarship as a way to recognize the next generation of young leaders as they steer us into the future,” said Joe Ferreri, senior vice president, Lands’ End Business Outfitters. “We’re proud to be able to share our love of learning with the students and the schools that we serve so they may continue to grow and lead.”

Lands’ End has awarded Aquinas' own 9th grader, Lucas Sherron, one of seven Lands’ End School Starboard Scholarships. Lands’ End is providing Lucas with a $10,000 scholarship, as well as a $2,500 donation to The Aquinas Institute and a $500 Lands’ End Gift Card.
