Celebrating Class Years Ending in 1 & 6!
What a weekend to be #AQProud! Alumni Homecoming Weekend 2026 brought Aquinas alumni, friends, families and supporters back together for a celebration filled with old memories, new connections, and plenty of Irish spirit.
This year we celebrated class years ending in 1 & 6. With more than 10 individual class-year reunions taking place (that we know of), alumni from across the decades came home to AQ to reconnect with classmates, walk the AQ halls, and celebrate the friendships and traditions that make Aquinas so special.
The weekend kicked off with student-led campus tours with stops along the way to purchase the latest AQ gear at the DiMarco Family Bookstore, followed by the Class Scholarship Breakfast, and Alumni Veterans Reception. Saturday morning also brought everyone together at Wegmans Stadium, kicking off (pun intended) with our Lady Irish Varsity Soccer Team. The girls took home the victory, and as of October 2026, have an incredible 16–0 record as they head into sectionals!
Next up was the Homecoming football game. Although the Li’l Irish came up short on the football field, the chance to cheer, catch up and celebrate alongside so many familiar faces made the day a win!
The weekend continued Sunday with Family Mass celebrated by Fr. Bob Werth ‘63, followed by the 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and brunch, honoring the outstanding accomplishments and lasting impact of our Aquinas alumni and friends.
To every alumnus and alumna who came home, every friend who joined us, and everyone who continues to support the Aquinas community: thank you! Your presence, your stories, and your unwavering Irish pride are what make these weekends so meaningful.
We loved having you home, and we can’t wait for next year.

FRIDAY: SEPTEMBER 25
- 4:30 PM: AQ Tennis vs. Bishop Kearney
- 5:00 PM: JV Volleyball vs. RACS
- 6:30 PM: Varsity Volleyball vs. RACS
SATURDAY: SEPTEMBER 26
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Student-Led Campus Tours
Tours will begin in the Fine Arts Center Lobby at entrance #7.
- 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Shop AQ at the DiMarco Family Bookstore
Stock up on AQ gear in the Student Union.
- 9:30 AM: Class Scholarship Breakfast (AQ Student Union)
For classes with established scholarships: '52, '53, '54, '55, '57, '58, '59, '60, '61, '62, '64, '65, '68, '72, ’75, ‘76 & '90.
- 10:00 AM: Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Penfield (Wegmans Stadium)
- 11:00 AM: Alumni Veterans Reception (Wegman-Napier Gymnasium Lobby)
For alumni who have served or are currently serving our country.
- 11:00 AM: Old Boy's Reunion (Basilian Conference Room)
Alumni in classes of 1939-1959 are invited to this reception.
- 12:00 PM: VIP Room Opens (Wegmans Stadium)
Alumni in reunion classes ending in 1 & 6 enjoy complimentary entrance to the football game, as well as food and non-alcoholic drinks in the VIP room. This is a great spot to view the game and catch up with classmates!
- 1:00 PM: Homecoming Football Game vs. McQuaid Jesuit (Wegmans Stadium)
Complimentary tickets for alumni in classes ending in 1 & 6.
SUNDAY:SEPTEMBER 27
- 9:00 AM: Family Mass (Thomas F. Bell '57 Auditorium)
Alumni and families are invited to join us for Mass celebrated by Fr. Bob Werth '63.
- 10:30 AM: Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Thomas F. Bell '57 Auditorium)
Alumni and families are invited to join us for the Hall of Fame 2026 Induction Ceremony following Mass.
- 12:00 PM: Hall of Fame Brunch ($50 per person)
Pre-registration is required for the Hall of Fame Brunch located inside the Robert B. Wegman Field House.
