Aquinas Welcomes Debra Delfino ’11 as Girls Lacrosse Head Coach

The Aquinas Institute of Rochester is proud to announce Debra Delfino ’11 as the new Head Coach of its Girls Lacrosse program.

An Aquinas alumna, Coach Delfino returns to Dewey Avenue with a deep appreciation for the school community that helped shape her both personally and professionally. Her enthusiasm for coming back to her alma mater is matched by her extensive collegiate coaching experience.

Most recently, Coach Delfino served as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Post University, where she led all aspects of the NCAA program. Her responsibilities included practice planning, skill development, budget management, scheduling, travel coordination, equipment oversight, and fundraising. She built a competitive and supportive environment where student-athletes were challenged to excel both on and off the field.

Prior to her time at Post University, she served as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Monroe Community College, where she focused on developing well-rounded student-athletes. Her commitment to academic accountability and team culture was central to her leadership approach.

Coach Delfino’s professional background also includes administrative and operational roles at Monroe Community College and her current position at Highland Hospital, where she demonstrates daily leadership, organization, and responsibility. All qualities that translate seamlessly to coaching and mentoring our young women.

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to Aquinas,” Coach Delfino shared. “Aquinas played such an important role in my life, and I am excited to give back by helping our student-athletes grow in confidence, skill, and pride for our school.”

The Aquinas community looks forward to this exciting new chapter for Girls Lacrosse under Coach Delfino's leadership #AQProud
