It’s been an incredible week for Aquinas Institute athletics! Our Varsity Girls Soccer team captured the Section V Class A Championship with a thrilling victory over Pittsford Sutherland on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Our players displayed skill, determination, and teamwork that made the difference, securing a spot in the 2025 NYSPHSAA Girls Soccer Championships. Next up, the Lady Irish will face Starpoint Central High School on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Geneseo High School. We’re excited to see them continue their run toward the state title!
Meanwhile, our Varsity Cheerleading team also made history, winning the Section V Game Day Cheerleading Class C1 Championship last weekend. This victory adds to an already remarkable streak: the team has been Section V Class C Game Day Champions in 2023, 2024, and now 2025. Their next challenge comes at the NYSPHSAA State Championships on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.
