Aquinas Celebrates the Class of 2025!

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, we proudly celebrated the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2025 — a day filled with sunshine, joy, and heartfelt reflection. Families, faculty, and friends gathered in unity to honor our newest graduates as they turned their tassels and stepped into the next chapter of their lives.

The ceremony featured a powerful address from Deputy Mayor Michael T. Burns ’95, who returned to his alma mater to share words of encouragement and challenge with the graduating class. He urged students to:

Embrace discomfort — for it is often the catalyst for growth,

Listen carefully — because others may see your gifts before you do, and

Believe in your power to change the world.

Deputy Mayor Burns closed with a moving reminder that no matter where life leads, the graduates’ Aquinas family is always with them, and that true fulfillment lies in answering God’s call for their lives.

As these young men and women move forward — to college, the workforce, or service — they carry with them the values, friendships, and foundation that Aquinas instilled. They are prepared not only for success but to lead lives of purpose, guided by faith and compassion.

To the Class of 2025: Congratulations! You are forever a part of the AQ legacy. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to watch you make your mark on the world.

A special shoutout to Class Salutatorian Abby O'Meara, and Class Valedictorian Gianluca Fallone whose beautiful speeches reflected the heart, spirit, and resilience of this extraordinary class. Their words captured what it means to be a part of the AQ family and served as a poignant sendoff for their classmates.

And a sincere thanks to Mrs. Lorin Easton, Department Chair of Fine Arts, for capturing the day so beautifully.
