AQ Voluntarily Tests for Lead in Drinking Water

Results Within USEPA Guideline Parameters
To Our Constituents,

If you have been following the news lately, you have seen stories regarding lead in the drinking water and the impact that it has had on schools. Aquinas has voluntarily undergone a thorough test for lead in drinking water. The test was conducted on June 10, 2016 by MEH Consulting and tested by ALS Laboratories. The tests were conducted in accordance with the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s guidelines for schools that obtain drinking water from municipal water authorities. Samples were collected from 53 locations in the school, field house, and concession areas. We are pleased to inform you that all areas at Aquinas have tested within the USEPA guideline parameters.

The safety and security of all of our students, faculty, and staff are always our top concern. If you have any questions please feel free to call. We are honored to have your family here and to be able to give you the peace of mind that comes with knowing Aquinas is proactive in maintaining the environment you expect for your child.

Sincerely,
