Since opening in 1925, over 19,000 men and women have passed through the Aquinas Institute and into leadership positions throughout the Rochester community and beyond. Many alumni credit their personal and professional success to the Basilian Fathers whose motto, "Teach Me Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge," provided the very foundation of their education. The commitment to the vision of the Basilian Fathers continues as Aquinas encourages the intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual growth of students.
Now more than ever, Aquinas needs the support of her alumni and friends. Your gift helps to offset the rising cost of providing a Catholic education.

Giving Options
Annual Fund
Contributions to the Annual Fund help provide students with the resources they need to prepare for success in a rapidly changing world. Specifically, these funds benefit the general budget and operation of the school.
Scholarship Funds
An education is the most valuable gift one can receive. More than 40 percent of our students benefit from the financial assistance provided by the scholarship fund. There are two ways to contribute to the scholarship fund:
Established Scholarships
Your contribution to one of more than 50 established scholarship funds would help Aquinas provide financial assistance for many more students.
Named Scholarships
A gift of $25,000 or more will establish an endowed scholarship fund, named for you or a loved one. Named scholarships ensure that an Aquinas education will remain an affordable option for deserving young men and women.
Planned Giving
Many of our alumni have shared stories about how they benefited from financial assistance. For some, their Aquinas education was a gift that allowed them to prosper beyond their own expectations.
By including Aquinas in your estate planning, you can help as you may have been helped. Bequests, gifts of stock, real estate or life insurance are all ways to ensure the Aquinas tradition will endure. In addition, lifetime income gifts such as Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Gift Annuities offer significant advantages for donors and their families.
If you are interested in discussing any of the planned giving options, please call the Office of Alumni Relations and Development at 585-254-2020, ext 1064.
