It all started out with a simple visit.

In fact, Mr. Kenneth Murphy often visited Aquinas as a representative of the Lions Club and American Legion. One such visit prompted a tour of the school and conversation with Principal, Dennis Sadler, who learned that Murphy, a former student, had never received his Aquinas diploma because he left the school before graduation to serve in WWII.

Since that day, Murphy has become a familiar figure in the Aquinas community, and will finally be able to graduate as an honorary member of the Class of 2010.

News 10 recently covered the heartwarming story about Mr. Murphy's family and the events that led to his diploma and participation in the 2010 graduation ceremony.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Murphy and the Class of 2010!
