Sister Cities Exchange Students Visit AQ
A Fond Farewell to Our New French Friends

Aquinas recently welcomed twenty-two students visiting from Rennes, France as part of the City of Rochester, Sister Cities Program. The French students arrived on Saturday, April10th, and were greeted at a reception by the many host families who opened their homes to the students during their weeklong stay.

"We had a fun and busy week with our visitors including trips to area museums, Niagara Falls, and a farewell picnic with the host families," said Jen Rybak, who is a member of the Rennes, Sister City committee and a foreign language teacher at Aquinas. "Our Aquinas students especially enjoyed the two days that the French students spent the day here, on campus."

Aquinas has participated in the exchange program with Rennes for several years, alternating visits. Next year, AQ French Club students will visit France.
